Best Tonkotsu Ramen in Singapore – Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Review

Are you desperately craving for ramen?

Do you have a picky tongue but can’t afford to fly to Japan for a bowl of hot authentic ramen??

Why do I sound like an advertisement???

I DON’T KNOW

But what I do know is that you can exit Tiger Airline’s website and put down your credit card and instead head down to Ramen Keisuke – Tonkotsu King! I wouldn’t say that it has the best Tonkotsu ramen in Singapore but does taste like Japan’s ramen and is currently the best Tonkotsu ramen I’ve tried so far. They also provide FREE eggs and beansprouts and –

“Stop. You got me at free eggs.”

(same tbh)

Before I start reviewing the food and drool all over my keyboard, let me just tell you how much I love the environment of the place. It really really looks like a Japanese ramen restaurant, with the ramen bar at the sides and the stickers covering the walls. I really have this weird obsession with the ambiance of restaurants but I really do feel like it plays a really huge role in the satisfaction of the meal!

Tonkotsu Ramen AWAODORI

This is basically Tonkotsu ramen with pork shabu shabu and raw egg. The broth tastes really rich and I can tell that they really put in effort in making it rather than spamming msg. I really love the aroma of the pork fat in the broth! I really love the fatty parts of the pork which just melts in your mouth.

Gyoza

Ok no amount of photoshop can fix how ugly the gyozas look but this is one of those moments where you really can’t judge a book by its cover because they actually do taste really good. I like to eat this with vinegar, chili oil and soy sauce together and the taste of the juice from the gyoza mixed with the 3 sauces is just MMmmMmmM.

I’m terribly sorry if I made you drool all over your phone or laptop but don’t worry because there are so many branches in Singapore so you can just head on down to anyone of them!
