Wing Zone’s Student Meal Food Review

If you’re looking for an affordable meal at Paya Lebar then I’d definitely recommend going to Wing Zone for their super worth it Student meal. Just a disclaimer: There are of course better fried chicken places out there, but I do feel like this place is the most worth it at its price point. (#buzzfeed)

There is a whole array of flavors to choose from, probably the most flavors I have ever seen on chicken. But this actually made it more disappointing for me and my friend because the variety of flavors they offered was pretty much a lie. I ordered Thai Chili and he ordered Honey. The Thai Chili was sweet and spicy but it just felt a little off like I wouldn’t know that it was Thai Chili if I ate it without knowing what it was. And the Honey was just a blatant lie because it tasted like BBQ Sauce.

Despite my complaints, I would still come back to try some of their sauce and pray really hard that I actually get 100% of the flavor I ordered. There were some really attractive ones like Mango FireCool RanchLiquid Gold and Lemon Zinger

If you’re not picky about the flavors though then this is actually a pretty good place to eat at for students. They have a student’s meal at a super affordable price of $4.95. The meal comes with a drink, chickens (wings/ boneless) and for all my Asian brothers out there- RICE. Personally, I prefer the wings to the boneless chickens because the flavor is more intense. Also, the rice kinda reminds me of a milder version of chicken rice because it has a bit of that oily and sweet aspect to it.
