If you have sensitive nose, sinus, allergies or in need of a remedy for a dusty environment, you’re probably looking for a good air purifier. Today, I’ll be sharing about a new product that I just bought, airMIGO.
Why do I need an air purifier?
My nose has always been super sensitive to dust and basically any impurities in the air. This causes me to sneeze very easily and also develop post natal drips from time to time.
Like what the name suggests, airMIGO air purifier does an excellent job at sucking up all those impurities. With an additional photocatalysis technology weaved into the machine, airMIGO is also capable of breaking down hazardous organic contaminants in the air with an inbuilt UV-LED light.
Specifications and information
- Dimensions: 13.1 x 13.1 x 17cm
- Weight: 562g (without water)
- Water Tank Volume: 460ml (4-10 hours)
- Plug: 5V 2A micro USB plug
How to use airMIGO air purifier?
This product is idiot-proof. Just add water in the water tank, connect the USB cable to a power source and lastly, turn it on.
To activate its photocatalysis function, spray 2-3 pumps of the photocatalyst solution on each side of the filter and switch on the UV-LED light. You will only need to reapply the photocatalytic solution after 1-2 weeks.
Convenient to use
Aside from being small, the purifier is also surprisingly very light.
You can easily carry this around the house and use it as a mini air-conditioner since it has a evaporative and cooling feature. Of course, it pales in comparison with the actual one but it works wonders on a hot day (if you want to save a little cash on the electricity bills).
Easy to wash
One of my biggest turn-off of my previous air purifier was that it took too much effort to clean. Well, the smaller dimensions of airMIGO do play a part, but all you need to do is simply slide the nano filter out of the machine and rinse it under water.
The nano filter can be used for 6-10 months and only replaced whenever it’s required. Compared to most mini coolers in the market, which do not have washable filters, airMIGO is actually most cost-effective in the long run.
Favorite feature – aromatherapy
Besides being very portable, I love the aromatherapy function that it has.
Another feature? What a steal!
Simply add a few drops of aromatic oil (sold separately) into the water tank and voila, you have your new scented air purifier.
